Ceremonial Team Meeting

Tuesday, April 17th, 2012

To all those interested in Lodge Ceremonies,

There will be a team meeting on Apr 19 promptly at 7:30 P.M. at the Great Bridge Baptist Church aimed at getting teams prepared for the upcoming ordeals. We need any and all youth under the age of 21 that are interested to come on out to 640 Battlefield Blvd for this meeting. It should only last for about an hour and a half. Its time to raise a new generation of strong Blue Heron ceremonialists. You could be the next figure as one of the four mighty principles.

To get to the room (VERY IMPORTANT)

  1. Drive around to the back of the church.
  2. Walk up to the single door to the left of the playground.
  3. There will be a buzzer on the door. Ring the buzzer and say you are there for a Boy Scout function.
  4. Walk in the door to the end of the short hall. Turn right, then immediately to the left. We are in the second door on the left room 121.

Have your ceremonies been sort of blah lately? Can’t seem to capture that old spark or emulate performances you have only seen? Wish you could be a part of ceremonies with the OA? Well worry no more, because a solution is available to you!

Anyone interested in joining the Ceremonies team should speak to the Ceremonies Chairman.  The team is involved in every ceremony and performance the Order of the Arrow does, such as crossovers for Webelos joining Boy Scouts and Order of the Arrow Callouts. Just looking to add some pizazz to chapter level ceremonies? The current Ceremonies Chairman is filled with helpful hints and tips to spice up your next ceremony.

The Ceremonies Team is recruiting, so if you are interested at all please stand up, make your voice heard, and become a part of an integral group here in Blue Heron Lodge.
